D. E. Brandy de Jerez
Brandy obtained using hollandas distillates and wine eau-de-vies with a medium alcohol content (77º), together with wine distillates (94.5º), produced in the Bodegas Osborne Tomelloso distillery (Cuidad Real) by means of carefully distilling selected sound and balanced wines in distillation columns. Its production and ageing process, which takes place at Bodegas Osborne S.A. in El Puerto de Santa Maria (Cadiz), is noted for a special and careful assemblage of the different eau-de-vies used and the use of American oak casks, previously seasoned with fino sherry, to age the brandy using the traditional dynamic ageing system of criaderas and soleras.

Tasting notes:
Pale gold, luminous, bright.
Medium intensity, hints of wine, fragrant with a boquet that recalls ripe peaches and a delicate hint of oak. Balanced and warm.
Smooth, pleasant and lingering, slightly sweet.


Recommendations:
It can be drunk slightly chilled straight in a sherry or in a brandy glass. Serve with or added to coffee to make the typical “carajillo” drink. On the rocks in a tumbler, or as a long drink mixed with orange, ginger ale, soda water or lemon. It is a fundamental ingredient for making cocktails. In the morning with coffee, drunk straight after lunch, on the rocks in the evening, and as a long drink with a mixer at night or at a party.
Should be stored in well-ventilated places and away from sources of heat.
Brandy improves in the bottle. During its ageing process, it may become slightly cloud or some sediment may appear as the result of some of the natural components from the wood being insoluble. In this case, it should be decanted before drinking.
