Product Description
Brut non-vintage is always the expression of the House style and, as such, it is the signature champagne.
Laurent-Perrier Brut's style is defined by its very high proportion of Chardonnay which provides a natural purity, freshness and elegance. These essential characteristics expressed in all our champagnes, are good introduction to the spirit of Laurent-Perrier.
Chardonnay, is the dominant grape variety and its proportion is unusually high for a non-vintage champagne blend, being double the average. The blend is made of wines from more than 55 individual crus or villages with an average cru rating of 20% of reserve wines are also used, thus to ensuring perfect consistency in the style.
The Laurent-Perrier Brut also benefits from ideal ageing in the cellars: three years minimum for a 75 cl bottle, and four to five years for a magnum. Its balance and natural freshness are enhanced by a light dosage. After the dosage, the wines are kept in the cellar to rest for several months before shipment.
Tasting notes:
Pale gold in colour with a steady flow of fine and persistent bubbles.
Delicate aroma yet complex, fresh and well-balanced with hints of citrus and white fruits.
Well defined taste, subtly rounded with expressive flavours. The fruit progressively emerges to reveal a finely balanced champagne displaying great length on the finish
